We are seeking an Information Systems Architect to assist in supporting first-of-a-kind, large-scale solutions for national security. Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite. Some travel is required. Salary Range: $87,400 - $168,800 *Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential. Qualifications We Require: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience. Experience managing Linux servers Basic understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, bonding, and firewalls Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI clearance, which may require a polygraph examination. Qualifications We Desire: Experience Designing, developing, and analyzing overall architecture of internal systems, including hardware and software. Experience in hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Experience Researching and making recommendations of technology to improve current systems. Experience developing or modifying information systems, documenting requirements, and revising existing systems as necessary. Experience in integration and acceptance testing. Experience in problem identification, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting skillsets. Basic understanding of Linux or Windows administration concepts. Demonstrated ability to work well with department team members and management and to identify and resolve network-centric issues. Security+ or higher certification Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team Ability to learn new technologies, concepts, and processes Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects within appropriate scope and timeframe. We work the full lifecycle to architect, procure, deploy, integrate, and maintain advanced high-performance computer systems to process, display, store, and disseminate high throughput sensor data.
