Leads projects that impact OnRamps as an organizational unit that require development, management, and coordination across multiple teams within the organization, across departments, and other units at the university.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Physics, Geoscience, science education or closely related field.
Experience leading teams to meet goals and strategic outcomes.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to engage multiple internal and external stakeholders with decorum and tact.
Ability to communicate technical information to lay audiences using a respectful, client-focused approach.
Demonstrated understanding of high school teaching and learning.
Proficient in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) or another LMS.
Demonstrated ability to teach oneself new things, develop mastery, and adjust to rapidly changing needs with an organization.
Five years of clinical or teaching experience at a high school or college level.
Experience providing support or instructional coaching to teachers or related groups.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Requirements
Doctoral degree in Physics, Geoscience, or closely related field.
Experience developing curriculum, preferably for online delivery.
Experience developing and maintaining online professional learning communities for students and/or teachers.
Eight or more years teaching experience in science or closely related content area at a college or high school level.
Eligibility to serve as Instructor of Record according to The University of Texas at Austin departmental requirements.
Salary Range
$100,000 + depending on qualifications
