We are seeking a skilled Multi‑Spindle Screw Machine Operator with hands‑on experience running Davenport , Acme‑Gridley , Brown & Sharpe, Schutte , or Tornos multi‑spindle equipment. Responsibilities
Operate, and troubleshoot multi‑spindle automatic screw machines including Davenport and Acme‑Gridley platforms
Adjust cams, tooling, collets, feeds, speeds, and attachments to maintain optimal performance
Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and process sheets
Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
Collaborate with supervisors, setup technicians, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and production efficiency
Requirements
2+ years of experience operating multi‑spindle screw machines (Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Schütte, Tornos, or equivalent)
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of cam‑driven machine operation
Ability to perform minor setups and adjustments independently
Familiarity with high‑volume production environments
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
