Assist with accounting integration; Map local accounting records to corporate ledger and upload periodic trial balance activity; lead integration accounting workflow status reporting. Consistently look at process and identify opportunities for improvement/streamlining. Responsible for month-end close activities, including closing subledgers, preparing accruals, recording journal entries, reviewing account trends, and providing analysis as required. Manage daily accounting operations to ensure the accuracy of general ledger. Review flux and trend analyses of financial statements data monthly. Prepare and review account reconciliations. Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to determine the proper accounting treatment of business transactions and resolve any aging items. Support internal and external audits, as well as external reporting activities. Assess current SOX controls to ensure adequacy. Identify and implement any new controls on existing or new processes, including updating/creating process documentation, collaborating with business process owners, etc. Interpret and apply financial policies and procedures for each organization; encourage and monitor compliance. Review complex and unusual transactions to ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Assist with preparation of financial statements and relative disclosures. Lead ad hoc projects and drive them to completion with minimal supervision.
