We're looking for an editor who cares deeply about the craft of communication. S omeone who reads closely, thinks clearly, and notices the details that make good writing great.
This role sits within the creative copy team and works across marketing, product, and campaign content. While editing and quality control will be a key part of the role, we're also looking for someone who enjoys writing and can step in to shape or develop content when needed.
The ideal candidate reads like an editor but thinks like a writer. Someone who understands what the writer is trying to say and helps them say it better.
Responsibilities
Review and edit a wide range of content including landing pages, campaign assets, emails, ads, social posts, and product messaging
Ensure consistency in tone, voice, grammar, and style across all marketing communication
Improve clarity, structure, and readability while preserving the intent of the content
Act as a quality gate for published communication, ensuring everything meets editorial standards before it goes live
Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and marketing stakeholders to refine messaging and flow
Step in to write or develop copy for certain assets when needed (ads, social posts, short-form marketing content, etc.)
Maintain and evolve internal editorial guidelines and style frameworks
Catch inconsistencies in messaging, claims, or narrative before content reaches our audience
Requirements
5-6 years of experience in copy editing, content editing, or writing roles
Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and editorial best practices
Strong writing instincts and the ability to contribute original copy when required
A sharp eye for detail and the judgment to know when editing improves a piece and when it overcorrects it
Strong sense of tone and voice across different formats and audiences
Comfort working across both short-form marketing content and longer editorial pieces
Ability to collaborate with writers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
Experience in SaaS, technology, or B2B marketing environments is a plus
What success looks like in this role
Content that is clearer, sharper, and more consistent before it reaches our audience
Writers who feel supported by the editorial process, not rewritten by it
Fewer last-minute fixes and greater confidence in the quality of published communication
A strong editorial backbone that helps maintain the integrity of our brand voice
