Position Title: Imaging Care Associate Department: Adult MRI Job Description: General Description: The Imaging Care Associate II is an experienced care giver that supports the Imaging team in providing excellent patient care. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position. Prepares patients for testing and/or procedures including patient positioning. Transports patients as requested. Responds to inquiries from patients and family members. Collaborates with team members across OU Health to provide exceptional patient care. Cleans, disinfects and organizes to provide a welcoming environment for patients. Assists with scheduling and other clerical tasks. Assists with data entry, patient records, documentation and filing. If certified to do so, may start patient IVs and other phlebotomy related tasks. If certified to do so, may place cardiac monitors and perform EKGs. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.
