Lead the ongoing development and execution of Kaufman Hall's enterprise knowledge management strategy aligned with business priorities and growth objectives
Oversee the firm's knowledge management infrastructure, repositories, governance standards, taxonomy, and content lifecycle management processes
Partner with consulting and operational leaders to improve the capture, organization, and dissemination of intellectual capital across practices and functions
Drive adoption and continuous improvement of knowledge management tools, platforms, workflows, and user experiences
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to support high-quality, efficient proposal development and client pursuit activities
Develop and maintain governance processes to ensure content quality, consistency, relevance, and compliance with firm standards
Lead initiatives to improve searchability, accessibility, and usability of firm knowledge resources and data assets
Partner with IT, data, digital, and AI leadership teams to develop and operationalize a scalable enterprise AI and knowledge enablement strategy
Help evaluate, implement, and govern AI-enabled knowledge management tools, intelligent search capabilities, automation solutions, and emerging technologies
Establish governance, standards, and best practices related to AI-assisted content management, knowledge curation, and enterprise information usage
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, insight generation, and content accessibility through responsible and practical application of AI capabilities

The Position
Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC is seeking a Vice President, Knowledge Management to lead the firm's enterprise knowledge management strategy, department, and capabilities. This leadership role is responsible for advancing how intellectual capital is captured, organized, curated, and leveraged across the organization to support business development, client delivery, innovation, and operational excellence.
The Vice President will partner closely with the SVP, Sales and Delivery Enablement, Consulting Practice Leaders, and various operations and enterprise leads to strengthen the accessibility, usability, and scalability of the firm's knowledge assets. This individual will lead efforts to improve knowledge sharing and reuse, drive adoption of Knowledge Management ("KM") tools and processes, support proposal and engagement teams with high-value content, and ensure the firm's intellectual capital is effectively maintained and scaled.
This role will also play a critical leadership role in shaping the firm's knowledge and AI enablement strategy by partnering closely with Information Technology, data and analytics leaders, and AI stakeholders across the organization. The Vice President will help define scalable approaches for leveraging AI technologies, intelligent search, automation, and digital knowledge solutions to enhance operational efficiency, accelerate insight generation, and improve the accessibility and usability of the firm's intellectual capital.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, operational leadership, change management expertise, and a strong understanding of consulting environments, professional services knowledge ecosystems, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities.
