We are seeking to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced Contract Administrator to join our newly awarded 10-year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. This opportunity is being offered as a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract , providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to contribute to a significant, long-term infrastructure program while working within a collaborative and values-led business. In this role you'll be responsible for: Understanding all commercial aspects of the construction and utilities contracts and identifying key areas of contract and financial risk Project forecasting, financial modelling, cost control management and performance reporting Procurement of subcontractors and negotiation of commercial terms in accordance with Company subcontracting protocols Management of subcontractor sub-contracts (including payment, variations, claims and EOT) Preparation of monthly Head Contract progress claims Liaising closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Manager and the wider project team to ensure commercial and financial risks are mitigated. How you'll connect to the role: Formal Qualifications in Contract Management or Quantity Surveying is desirable Demonstrated experience in end to end procurement and contract formation in the construction and/or utilities sectors Sound commercial and financial acumen related to the construction/utilities sectors Experience in contractual notifications, claim preparation and negotiation Have excellent IT skills and advanced skills in Excel and Word Experience with JDE will be an advantage, but is not essential Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.
