Dance and Recreational Gymnastic Coach

Responsibilities

• Coaching & Instruction
• Conduct recreational gymnastics and dance classes for children of various age groups.
• Teach basic dance techniques, rhythm, musicality, coordination, and movement skills.
• Introduce fundamental gymnastics elements, flexibility, balance, and body control.
• Adapt lesson plans to suit different abilities and learning styles.
• Assist the RG Coach when needed.
• Programme Delivery
• Follow BPA's curriculum and lesson plans while maintaining class quality and consistency.
• Assist in planning and preparing class structures, routines, and simple performances.
• Support studio showcases, demonstrations, and internal events.
• Student Care & Safety
• Ensure a safe training environment and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain discipline and positive classroom management.
• Communication & Teamwork
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and class matters.
• Work closely with coaches, instructors, and administrative staff.
• Support enrolment activities, trial classes, and open house events when required.

• Administrative & Operational Support
• Take attendance and assist with basic administrative duties related to classes.
• Ensure equipment, music, and training spaces are properly set up and maintained.
• Comply with BPA policies, SOPs, and code of conduct.

Responsible for delivering engaging, safe, and age-appropriate recreational gymnastics and dance classes. The role focuses on developing basic movement skills, coordination, rhythm, and confidence while creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment for students.
