Job Description Summary As new program sales manager you will be responsible for fostering the growth in the military market, ensuring that the whole organization is specifically focused on the needs and requirements of the Military Customers, Strategy, Marketing & Sales organization is searching for a New Program Sales Manager. Job Description Ensure Avio Aero continuous growth through the participation to the next generation military programs, leveraging on company's legacy competences to open new markets and opportunities Exploit on Avio Aero and General Electric Aviation European footprint and Italian international cooperation to ensure Avio Aero participation to European military initiatives Pursuing new growth opportunities outside Italian Armed Forces perimeter, fostering the cooperation with other General Electric Aviation P&L's and Industry partners Promote and ensure synergy with OTR and Engineering team to early capture Customer needs and available funds to secure Avio Aero growth Lead others to find creative solutions to address complex projects using problem solving and value stream mapping. Ability to evaluate information received and conflicting data isolating problem statements and providing meaningful and thorough analysis. Have access for effective engagement with all levels, from individual program leads in the respective branch of service to the most senior officers in European MoDs and Industry partners. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services and using understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process Qualifications/Requirements Engineering degree (MBA would constitute a preferred qualification) Strong experience in commercial operations, sales and business development, in particular in military environments and international consortia with a proven track record Previous Project/Program Management experience preferably in international military programs with direct liaison with end users Knowledge of main technical aspects of propulsion systems and legal/contractual requirements with experience on offset obligations Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Italian citizenship Fluent written and spoken Italian and English Desired characteristics Business acumen and knowledge of Italian and European Military market and programs. Broad network and knowledge of aerospace OEMs, customers and European MoD military organizations Strong oral and written communicator that can develop and present executive level proposals to internal and external customers Ability to support domestic and international travel Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Proven negotiation abilities
