Achieve sales targets by executing a focused solar and energy storage sales pipeline, primarily serving renewable energy project developers, asset owners, and Independent Power Producers
Build and sustain long-term partner relationships by delivering value-driven EMS Edge and Cloud software solutions
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Product Marketing, Commercial Operations, Delivery, and Sales Support, to ensure partner needs are met and commitments are fulfilled
Represent the company at selected industry events, trade fairs, and conferences, including customer and partner presentations
Work with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Business Development to identify and execute partner-led demand generation initiatives
Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and activity tracking in NetSuite and Jira, ensuring transparency for management and key stakeholders
Own and progress assigned opportunities through the full sales cycle, coordinating internal and external stakeholders as required
Requirements
at least 3 years of experience selling complex, high-value technical solutions with long sales cycles, including software or data-driven platforms, with strong quota attainment
proven success engaging executive-level decision-makers and consistently exceeding sales targets
High level of professionalism, integrity, and commercial discipline, with strong negotiation and closing skills
Self-driven, structured, and comfortable operating independently with limited supervision
Ability to accurately forecast pipeline, deal timing, and likelihood of close
Good understanding of solar and energy storage business models, particularly for project developers and Independent Power Producers, preferred
Business, technical, or engineering background preferred
Fluency in German and English is required

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned, sales-focused Account Executive with a strong track record in the solar or energy storage industry across Central Europe and the DACH region . In this pivotal role, you will support Stem's European expansion by developing and managing a sales pipeline focused on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage developers, Independent Power Producers, and strategic partners.
You will establish and grow relationships with high-potential customers, build a pipeline of high-value software-led opportunities, and convert project-based engagements into long-term strategic accounts with expansion and upsell potential aligned with Stem's modular product roadmap. This role requires a commercially driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the solar and BESS ecosystem, capable of engaging key decision-makers, translating technical requirements into clear commercial value, and consistently delivering against ambitious growth targets in a rapidly evolving clean energy market.
