As an OS Tool Software Engineer, you'll spearhead the enhancement of both developer and production environments, contributing to our groundbreaking Software Defined Vehicle OS (SDV OS). Role and Responsibilities Specify, design, and implement functionality and User Experience of tools for Vehicle OS such as messaging monitoring tool, messaging recording/replay tool, Vehicle emulator. Work with messaging systems based on Data Distribution Service (DDS) spec ( https://www.omg.org/omg-dds-portal/ ) Be responsible for the software and tools for the vehicle of the future Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent practical experience Good command of C and C++ Experience with or willingness to learn Rust Experience in Linux system software development, including distributed computing Understanding of distributed computing systems (set-up, usage, development) Familiarity with some modern distributed protocols or frameworks such as GRPC, Protobufs, SomeIP, DDS Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team Fluent English
