How you'll make a difference Support and guide a multidisciplinary team , contributing to project delivery in defence, team development, and maintaining high standards of collaboration and technical quality. Oversee civil engineering design and delivery across key infrastructure areas such as roadworks, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and water infrastructure for clients in sectors including Defence, Transport, Mining, and Urban Development. Contribute to strategic and operational planning , including resource management, project oversight, business growth, and alignment with national objectives. Build and maintain strong client relationships , supporting business development and contributing to the pursuit and securing of new work opportunities. The qualities that help you thrive Expert technical experience within a relevant Civil Engineering discipline (ideally 15 years +), alongside exposure to engineering consulting environments. Eligibility for defence security clearance, requiring Australian citizenship. Proven ability to lead and influence project outcomes in civil engineering projects, specifically defence projects, and drive a collaborative approach and enthusiasm for mentoring junior professionals. Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to maintain and develop strong client relationships across the civil engineering sector. Capability to deliver technical solutions and utilise Project/Design Management skillsets across large programs encompassing diverse civil engineering disciplines. Excellent communication skills and ability to drive multidisciplinary project teams towards one shared goal.
