Apply deep mechanical knowledge of solid-fuelled power plant technology.
Conduct troubleshooting, diagnosis, and maintenance on grate and combustion equipment.
Support tendering and cost modelling by estimating manpower and technical requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
Familiar with grates and grate technology and used to driving works at site. Ideally.
Mid-to-senior level experience in mechanical maintenance, field service, or operations-ideally within Power Plants, Waste-to-Energy, or industrial facilities.
Proven experience in hands-on mechanical inspection, outage, troubleshooting, and maintenance management.
Familiarity with matrix organisations and digital field service/maintenance management tools.
Fluent in the local language and English; additional languages are a plus.

Salary between £55,000-£65,000 per annum d.o.e (overtime available)

Kanadevia Inova is seeking an experienced Maintenance Inspection Manager (Mechanical) to serve as the on-site technical authority for Category 4 & 5 service works. This leadership role ensures all mechanical maintenance, inspection, and service activities meet customer requirements, technical specifications, industry standards, and contractual timelines. Acting as both a technical expert and hands-on support to daily site operations, the Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in driving QHSE excellence, guiding field teams, and strengthening Kanadevia Inova's position as a trusted technical partner. We are looking for someone who is familiar with grates and grate technology and used to driving works at site.
The position will require outage experience and there will be some travel during plant outages, approximately 2-3 weeks in a month during these outage periods.
