Liquid Personnel is seeking a committed and experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Locality Teams, based at either the Central or Normanton office. This is a vital role within the Children's Services, where you will be responsible for managing cases from the point of referral through to assessment, Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and initial court proceedings. This role is ideal for a social worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families and who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative environment. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will Hold and manage a caseload from initial referral through to assessment, CIN, CP, PLO, and initial proceedings. Undertake statutory assessments and develop child-focused plans that address identified risks and needs. Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to ensure effective safeguarding and support. Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, legal planning meetings, and court proceedings. Conduct home visits, direct work with children, and multi-agency meetings to monitor progress and review plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records in line with statutory and local requirements. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development activities.
