Development Technician

Responsibilities

• The Development Technician provides support for environmental and functional testing of EBAD products, test lab capability growth, inventory and technical problem solving in the following areas:
• Equipment:
• Equipment Calibration
• Equipment Preventative Maintenance
• Equipment Troubleshooting
• Equipment Repair
• Instrumentation:
• Accelerometers
• Charge Amplifiers & Signal Conditioners
• Thermocouples
• Oscilloscopes
• Other:
• Test Process Creation/Review
• Inventory Ownership
• Area Ownership
• Training
• Audits

Requirements

• High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Hand/Power Tools
• Technical Problem Solving
• Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration
• Microsoft Office Programs
• Familiarity with Data Acquisition & Software (LabVIEW, Vibration Research)
• Experience using Oscilloscopes
• Mechanical Design (SolidWorks)
• Preferred Background Knowledge:
• Environmental Testing (Climatics, Dynamics, etc.)
• Instrumentation (Accelerometers, Signal Conditioners, Thermocouples, etc.)
