Learn more about our recent valuation and story here . About the role We're looking for a delivery-focused Senior Frontend Engineer to help build Hostaway 's Trust Accounting white-label product . This role will have a direct impact on the financial operations of Hostaway 's customers by helping them keep compliant records, manage funds belonging to property owners, and deliver accurate, reliable financial workflows. This is a greenfield opportunity on a new team responsible for designing and delivering a financial subsystem that property managers can trust: accurate, compliant, scalable, and auditable. You will play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture, user experience, delivery practices, and engineering standards from day one. You'll work closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, Finance, and Legal to build intuitive and robust interfaces for trust accounting, payments-related workflows, ledger visibility, reconciliation, reporting, and operational controls. What you'll do: Develop and build scalable, high-quality frontend components and features for Hostaway 's Trust Accounting white-label product. Implement intuitive, performant, and reliable user workflows for financial operations, including trust accounting, payment visibility, fund movement tracking, reconciliation, and reporting. Build and evolve a flexible, white-label React application that can support multiple customer configurations and branded experiences. Contribute to the frontend architecture of a secure, scalable, auditable, and compliant financial subsystem. Develop and maintain reusable component libraries and contribute to the evolution of the design system. Ensure frontend performance optimization, responsive layouts, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Document frontend architecture, components, patterns, and key technical decisions for knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability. Proactively identify and drive improvements in frontend systems, delivery reliability, observability, and user experience. Requirements 6+ years of experience in SaaS software development, with strong frontend engineering experience. Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML . Proven experience building scalable, maintainable frontend applications in product-focused engineering environments. Experience working with accounting, ledger, payment, or financial operations products is a strong plus. Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Redux-saga, Context APIs, or similar patterns. Experience building white-label or highly configurable frontend applications is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of accessibility, frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Experience working in agile environments with distributed, cross-functional teams and rapidly shifting priorities. Nice to Have Experience with trust accounting, escrow, client money handling, property management accounting, or owner statement workflows. Experience with embedded payments, payment processors, payment operations, or fintech products. Experience building dashboards or reporting interfaces for finance, accounting, or operations teams. Experience contributing to design systems or reusable component libraries. Ability to design interfaces that support auditability, traceability, permissions, and operational review for financial workflows. Familiarity with compliance-sensitive product areas, especially where accuracy, audit trails, and customer trust are essential. What success looks like: The trust accounting whitelabel is delivered reliably, accurately, trusted by customers and regulators, and integrated seamlessly into the Hostaway platform. The product is high throughput, low error, and provides accurate data to customers. Compliance and financial correctness are vital.
