Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will:Oversee quality control standards across warehouse operationsPerform warehousing and stores duties with minimal supervision.Operate forklifts, material handling equipment, and Commonwealth vehicles (where licensed).Use warehouse systems to manage complex reporting and stock control.Lead and coordinate work for small teams (up to 10 staff).Undertake specialist tasks including stocktake discrepancy investigations, dangerous goods handling, or armoury / secure cage operations (requiring additional security clearances and/or training qualifications).Maintain safety, compliance, and efficiency across all warehouse activities.Vision insuranceEquity / stock options

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson with HR Lic (highly desirable) and NV1 Security Clearance to join our Defence logistics and warehousing team. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials. Based at Hampstead Barracks in South Australia , the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where accuracy, accountability, reliability and teamwork are essential. Duties will include use of WMS, MHE, inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade 2 ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance with Toll Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards.
