JOB SUMMARY: The Assembler I is responsible for safely assembling equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. These assemblies vary in size and product while requiring the use of a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools. As an Assembler I, this role has the job knowledge and skills to work in every station proficiently on an assembly line with the ability to troubleshoot various components of a machine. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto JLG products utilizing safe and proper tools and techniques. Demonstrate ability to effectively work across all work stations in assigned job function. Assist training new team members on processes and equipment functions. Demonstrate ability to use and train on all electronic devices including: EQC, MDS, JED, AS400. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards. Demonstrate best practices to follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing of all models/products in assigned job function. Demonstrate ability to operate all units produced in assigned job function.
