Job overview Element Six would like to recruit for the position of Senior NPI & Technical Development Engineer. As part of the Engineering team, the primary role of the successful candidate will be to support the sourcing, evaluation and implementation of new technology that will deliver cost, capacity and capability improvements. The role will also include the development of processes to manufacture new highly Engineered Products This role is a technical role, requiring attention to detail, as well as project management and problem solving through data analysis using good engineering & scientific methods. Duties and tasks Primary role is to support the implementation of new technology that can be utilized to re-engineer manufacturing processes to deliver cost reduction as well as new and improved capability The role involves working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance & External Suppliers Ensure Safety is number one priority in all work carried out. Responsible to evaluate potential new technology and support the introduction and handover to Production Commissioning and optimization of new equipment & processes Develop efficient, robust & repeatable manufacturing processes Develop new process capability to support improved new product offerings. Follow through on action logs, project milestones and presentations.
