Campus Staff Minister I - Central Texas Area (Undergraduate Ministry) Work Location: Texas Job Type: Full time God has called InterVarsity to plant and to build witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus on college and university campuses. Through these groups, we believe ever- increasing numbers of students and faculty from all ethnic groups and areas of the campus will be transformed by the Gospel. We expect to see campuses increasingly become places where people, ideas, and structures flourish to the glory of God. We pursue this calling by discerning and actively participating in what God is already doing on campus. This is the essence of being a Campus Staff Minister (CSM). CONTEXT: With over 70 years of collective ministry experience, InterVarsity's Central Texas area ministry has a rich history of reaching every corner of the University of Texas campus. Beyond UT we also have established work at St. Edward's University and are looking to replant work at Austin Community College and Texas State as well as other Universities in Austin and surrounding areas. We are a diverse movement of witnessing communities, sent to make disciples of Jesus in Austin and beyond. Our area vision is to communally partner with the work that God is doing on campus' in Central Texas and empower students to walk in spiritual authority and use the gifts God has given them. Our multi-ethnic team is a mix of full time staff and volunteers who enjoy collaboration, hospitality and fun. LOCATION: We currently have the most need for Campus Staff Ministers for the following locations/foci.
