Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems .
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (UL, CSA, TUV, as applicable).
• Strong knowledge of FAI , OQA , AQL , MSA , Process Capability , PFMEA and control plans .
• Qualification of NPI , including validation plans & documentation.
• Problem Solver, capable of guiding teams through systematic problem-solving processes, ensuring closure of corrective actions with measurable impact. (using structured methodologies such as A3, 8D, DMAIC, PDCA).
• Proven experience developing and executing customer escape prevention strategies, driving rapid containment, leading cross functional investigations, and implementing long term corrective actions to significantly reduce customer complaints and improve customer satisfaction .
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• The Essentials - You will Have:
• Lead Inspectors.
• Work with corporate teams, customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related field).
• Specialized certifications (CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineer roles within manufacturing of mechanical and electronic assemblies.
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have
• Background in engineering-driven products (electric industrial environment), low to medium volume production, and high-mix environments.
• Experience working in companies that follow corporate quality standards and global compliance systems.
• Intermediate to advanced English, able to participate in meetings, preparing reports, and communicating with customers or corporate teams
• You will report to Quality Manager.
