Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor
Manage reservations and seating using reservation systems (e.g., ForeTees, OpenTable)
Maintain accurate wait times and communicate delays clearly
Escort guests to tables and present menus when appropriate
Coordinate table rotation and seating flow with servers and management
Answer phone calls, assist with inquiries, and take reservations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
Assist with special events, large parties, and member functions
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Requirements
Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Basic knowledge of reservation systems (or willingness to learn)
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs (menus, small supplies)
