About the role

We are currently seeking an Sales Development Manager, APAC to join our growing Sales team in Sydney. This role will be based out of our Sydney hub. We are looking for someone ready to play a critical role in a close-knit, supportive team as we continue to accelerate our rapid growth across APAC. What your team does: Our APAC XDR team is a critical part of the engine that drives pipeline and interest in Clio's product offerings. Working across both BDR and SDR functions, the team engages prospective customers, qualifies opportunities, and sets the foundation for revenue growth across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs and SDRs to hit pipeline and activity targets
  • Drive performance excellence through regular 1:1s, ongoing training, and a strong feedback culture
  • Run experiments and pilot projects that help the team level up and sharpen their approach
  • Partner closely with the General Manager, APAC as a trusted advisor on pipeline and team health
  • Hold team members accountable to inbound and outbound metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with sales operations to analyse results and identify improvements to systems, processes, and programs
  • Recruit for ongoing and future headcount needs as the team grows
  • Coordinate with global sales stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment across the funnel
  • Develop and maintain an external presence in the local market and community
  • What you may have:
  • Demonstrated success as both a top-performing XDR and a team leader or manager
  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing BDR or SDR teams through coaching, training, and 1:1s
  • Track record of managing both inbound and outbound sales motions
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology companies
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to motivate and rally a team
  • A competitive mindset and genuine passion for developing early-career sales talent
