Senior Accounts and Finance Executive

Responsibilities

• Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure completeness of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and inter-company transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Review and process supplier invoices and payments.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing and collections.
• Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
• F&B Operations Accounting
• Verify daily sales reports from restaurants and outlets.
• Monitor cash collections, credit card settlements, and online platform payments.
• Review food cost reports, inventory variances, and wastage records.
• Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Central Kitchen teams to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting.
• Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, GST requirements, and company policies.
• Prepare GST submissions and statutory reports.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Budgeting & Financial Analysis
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Monitor operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze financial performance and provide reports to management.
• Team Leadership
• Supervise and guide junior accounting personnel.
• Review accounting entries and reconciliations prepared by team members.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B, retail, or manufacturing industry.
• Experience handling multiple outlets and inventory accounting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Salary Range
• S$4000 - S$6000 per month (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
