Carnegie Mellon University's department of Athletics is searching for a Part-Time Assistant Track and Field Coach. A national research university, Carnegie Mellon is a member of the NCAA Division III and University Athletic Association. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing assistance to the head coach with all aspects of the track & field program. This is a part-time, seasonal, academic year position. Core responsibilities will include: Assist head coach with all aspects of the track and field program, including preparation for practice specifically with long and triple jumping events, meet preparation and set up, weight room supervision and assistance, travel and other duties as assigned by the head coach Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic and athletic progress of student-athletes Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport programs goals set by head coach Other duties as assigned For consideration, all applications must include a resume, cover letter, and references.
