The Graduate Programs Recruiter is a key member of Seaver College's graduate enrollment team and holds primary responsibility for recruiting prospective students into Seaver's graduate programs. Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities Recruitment & Outreach Lead targeted recruitment efforts focused on LMU undergraduate students, Seaver alumni, and regional industry professionals, building pipelines into graduate programs. Develop and manage individualized prospect relationships, tailoring messaging around program features, career outcomes, and student needs. Advise prospective students on program selection, institutional fit, and admissibility, while clearly articulating the value of an LMU Seaver graduate education. Partnerships & Strategy Collaborate with academic program directors and faculty to identify and expand the prospect pool, develop recruitment strategies, and execute outreach campaigns aligned with enrollment goals. Partner with campus offices and local industry to strengthen employer engagement, alumni connections, and workforce-aligned recruitment initiatives. Actively advocate for new or enhanced programs, events, and recruitment collateral to support enrollment growth. Events & Engagement Plan, organize, and lead all Seaver graduate recruiting events, including information sessions, open houses, class visits, workshops, networking receptions, and admitted student programs. Represent LMU Seaver graduate programs at on-campus, regional, corporate, and professional recruiting events. Coordinate campus visit programs and ensure effective on-campus programming in collaboration with schools, colleges, and central graduate enrollment teams. Communications & Enrollment Operations Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs to ensure high-quality digital and print recruitment materials. Work closely with graduate enrollment management staff and university administrators to support a smooth transition from admission through matriculation, including participation in orientation programming. Partner with the Financial Aid and Student Financial Services offices to clearly explain financial aid options, costs, and payment processes to applicants. Data, Analysis & Reporting Analyze recruitment events and outreach activity to inform ongoing recruitment and enrollment strategies. Generate regular enrollment and funnel reports, including weekly statistics and ad hoc queries using CRM systems. Conduct market and competitive analysis to assess program positioning, prospect feedback, and effectiveness of recruitment messaging and communication strategies. Requisite Qualifications Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A master's degree is preferred. Minimum of four years of experience in graduate recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, higher education outreach, or related work with adult learners or corporate clients. Demonstrated knowledge of graduate admissions processes, policies, and cross-campus collaboration. Advanced experience with CRM systems such as Slate and Banner highly preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Strong advising skills with sensitivity to individual student needs and strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
