In this role, you'll play a vital part in safeguarding Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, effective access control, and a consistent on‑site security presence. We're seeking individuals who remain calm under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and recognise the importance of consistency in secure environments. This is not a typical security role-working within a Defence setting requires a higher level of professionalism, discretion, and operational discipline, where your actions directly support national operations. Duties include but are not limited to: Access Control - Monitoring entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site. Foot Patrols - Conducting regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats. Stakeholder Liaison - Building rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while delivering a strong security presence. Incident Response - Reacting promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour. Compliance Monitoring - Ensuring site protocols and Defence security procedures are always followed. Reporting & Documentation - Accurately recording incidents, shift activities and observations in accordance with site requirements.
