Gathering requirements for IC field failure root-cause characterization
Literature survey to understand existing state of the art and potential areas for innovation
Developing preliminary data mining/analysis techniques , including natural language processing and image classification/segmentation agents applied to IC field failure reports
Training these agents on a subset of IC field failures to create a machine learning model to categorize a much larger universe of failures

We are currently looking for a student for a 6-month internship to develop and prototype a new machine learning and computer vision system that will be used to debug and categorize IC field failures .
