This role involves ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager-Production to oversee and optimize Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing processes at our facility. This role involves ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. Job Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise a team of production operators and technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. * Plan, organize, and monitor daily API production schedules to meet targets and deadlines, ensuring optimal utilization of resources. * Implement and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory guidelines throughout the production process. * Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction. * Participate in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records. * Ensure all production activities comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations. * Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments to ensure seamless operations. * Conduct performance reviews, provide training, and support the professional development of team members. * Prepare and present production reports to management, highlighting key metrics and achievements. Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. * 5-8 years of experience in API manufacturing, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. * In-depth knowledge of cGMP, EHS regulations, and other relevant pharmaceutical industry standards. * Proven experience in managing production processes, including batch manufacturing, purification, and drying. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
