We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our iLab team for the Fall co-op term (September - December 2026). This role is ideal for a student with a strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence (AI), data management, and system integration. You will play a key role in improving access to information, enhancing system documentation, and supporting large-scale data entry initiatives to ensure accuracy, usability, and impact.
Responsibilities
Assist in improving access to internal systems and ensuring data/documentation is well-organized, accurate, and easy to retrieve.
Support the integration of AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance data processing, analysis, and workflow efficiency.
Conduct large-scale data entry with high attention to detail, ensuring information is clean, structured, and consistent.
Collaborate with the iLab team to design and implement process improvements for data management and system accessibility.
Contribute to documentation efforts, making technical systems more user-friendly and impactful for diverse stakeholders.
Perform ad hoc research and technical tasks to support ongoing innovation projects within the lab.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related AI applications.
Strong technical and analytical skills with experience in data entry, data management, or system documentation.
Familiarity with databases, data visualization tools, or workflow automation is considered an asset.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
