Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and plant systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment and utilities.
Respond to emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Install, modify, fabricate, and relocate machinery and facility systems using multi‑craft maintenance skills.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical documentation.
Operate shop equipment and use hand, power, and diagnostic tools safely and effectively.
Document work, requisition materials, and maintain maintenance records.
Follow all environmental, safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements.

Requirements
Adheres to and reinforces Amcor EHS policies and works safely at all times.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with maintenance, production, and management teams.
Minimum 5 years of maintenance technician experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix, SLC‑500, PLC‑5), VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation, and 480 VAC power distribution.
Ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and complete ISO calibration requirements.
Knowledge of industrial maintenance techniques related to equipment, systems, and facilities repair and installation.
Skilled in the use of hand, power, shop, test, and measuring tools; able to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills with effective communication abilities.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
Experience in printing and converting manufacturing environments preferred.
Physical Requirements
Extended periods of standing and walking in the production facility, and some occasional lifting of heavy items, i.e. cores or shafts.
Ability to lift 55+ pounds on a frequent basis.
Other physical demands include crouching and reaching.
Use of ladders and elevated walkways required.

Job Description
Role Overview: Unpack Your Potential
As a Maintenance Technician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production machinery, support equipment, building systems, and other site infrastructure to ensure optimal operating conditions and maximize plant productivity. You will also support equipment upgrades, continuous improvement initiatives, and other assigned maintenance or capital projects as required.
Schedule:
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotation
Note: Must be available on alternating weekends and some holidays
