Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience behind the bar in an upscale restaurant, lounge, or cocktail bar environment
  • Serving It Right certification
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (classic and contemporary)
  • Engaging personality with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Ability to adapt service style between refined dining and elevated bar settings
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience with POS systems is an asset
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Applicants must be able to commit to the full seasonal period (May through September 2026).
  • Physical Aspects
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Regular kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Frequent ascending and descending stairs and ramps
  • Ability to carry multiple plates and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Visa Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
