Shipyard Production Superintendent

About the role

You will serve as the Code 960 Superintendent in the Production Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning, directing, and coordinating the work of subordinate supervisor. Experience influencing managers and other officials to accept and implement findings and recommendations on organizational improvements/changes. Experience resolving complex problems and integration of conflicts. Experience with negotiated agreement procedures and shipyard instructions to ensure maintenance of discipline and morale.
