About the role
As a Thread Service Account Manager you will ensure the efficient execution and continuous improvement of maintenance contracts with our clients. Key Responsibilities Contract Management & Execution Ensure the smooth running of maintenance contracts with clients, including contracting, monitoring, reporting, invoicing, compliance, updates, and quotations Manage contract lifecycle activities with accuracy and rigor Client Interface Act as the main point of contact for customers on all contract-related matters (KPIs, performance, invoicing, service quality) Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term collaboration Project Management Coordinate and oversee the transition (handover) of customer sites from deployment to maintenance teams Plan, track, and manage maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects and contracts Supplier & Partner Management Oversee supplier maintenance contracts (setup, follow-up, compliance) Monitor supplier performance on customer sites (contracts, guarantees, spare parts availability, SLAs) Performance & Reliability Improvement Analyze technical maintenance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities Contribute to enhancing system reliability and operational performance Business Development & Upsell Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing contracts (aftersales services, upgrades, extensions) Support the development of additional service offerings, contributing to revenue growth Engineering degree or Master's degree (5-year degree) in Business Engineering or a related field First successful experience as a Contract Engineer, Business Manager, or in a similar role (ideally in maintenance or aftersales environments) Experience in project management (planning, coordination, stakeholder management) Strong ability to analyze technical maintenance data and performance indicators General knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and automation Demonstrated exposure to aftersales and/or upselling activities Autonomous, rigorous, and highly organized Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong interest in demanding technical environments, with a focus on analysis and problem-solving
