8+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years of people management experience.
Demonstrated experience owning and delivering technical solutions at the service, multi-service, or domain level.
Proven technical aptitude in system and API design, with experience leading engineering teams.
Familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.
Experience designing and operating systems at scale with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.
Strong track record driving architectural decisions and technical strategies across multiple teams or domains.
Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
Experience integrating and operating AI/ML-enabled solutions that drive measurable impact.
Advanced proficiency in Kotlin/Java programming.
Prior experience in search & recommendations or similar domain.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $184,500.00 to $258,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $295,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

This Senior Engineering Manager role is a part of the Search & Recommendations Platform organization within our Product & Technology division.
