About the role
The Rehabilitation Tech responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, designated tasks related to the clinical operation of the Rehabilitation Services Department and assistance with patient-related activities, which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by a therapist. Some clerical and/or operational duties may also be assigned. Supports physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists in treatment sessions. Assists with transfers, patient handling, and transport of patients for evaluation and treatment. Maintains equipment and environment of care including cleaning, organizing, ordering stock. Adapts well to change and is willing to be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patients. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual skills encouraged.
- BLS certification within first 30 days of employment.
- Schedule:
- 2 Weekend days per month
- 1 Summer Holiday and 1 Winter Holiday
