About the role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, San Francisco Field Office, Office of the DFO, located in San Francisco, California. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above. Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Leading workforce management projects, including the development and evaluation of policies and procedures to optimize organizational performance. Designing and implementing complex data analysis methods to assess workforce needs and recommend strategic solutions. Providing expert guidance to senior leadership on workforce planning, resource allocation, and program improvement initiatives. Managing the preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports and briefings on workforce management issues for executive decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve workforce challenges and drive continuous improvement in program operations.
