Senior Project Manager - Maritime Steel Projects

About the role

Damen Civil & Modular Constructions is part of the Damen Group and specializes in the delivery of large-scale maritime and steel construction projects worldwide . We design and build complete shipyards, dry docks of all sizes, modular pontoons, barges and other complex steel structures. Our headquarters is located in Gorinchem, the Netherlands , while our projects are executed globally. We work with multidisciplinary teams covering engineering, production (local and global), quality, and project management , ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Damen quality standards. As Senior Project Manager , you will take full responsibility for large and complex steel projects , such as dry docks and large pontoon constructions. You manage the project from contract handover through to final delivery. You act as the central point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope, planning, budget, risks, and quality . This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on project execution and regular site presence worldwide.
