The BSW observes, monitors and reports on client status/condition including changes in behavior, mental, emotional, and general physical status. The BSW ensures that changes in resident status are reported to the assigned interdisciplinary staff member.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a complex behavior, mental health or addictions setting.
- Diploma/degree in Community/Behaviour or rehabilitation-focused background, Addictions, Aboriginal Studies or other related field.
- Experience in non-violent crisis intervention and behaviour management.
- Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- Certified in CPR and First Aid, and ASIST would be an asset.
