MSS Security is seeking an experienced casual Aviation Protection Officer to join our team at Ayers Rock Airport. FIFO is available. Duties include but are not limited to: Conduct security screening for passengers, staff and visitors. Operate security technology and systems, including metal detectors, to identify potential risks or prohibited items. Perform scans when required for passengers, staff and visitors to ensure no prohibited items are being carried. Conduct Explosive Trace Detection tests. Operate X-ray machines to screen luggage for dangerous goods, prohibited items or weapons. Perform thorough bag searches when necessary to ensure compliance with aviation security regulations. Monitor and patrol airport premises to identify and report any security threats or breaches.

Requirements

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC.
• Ability to undergo and pass a medical assessment (including drug and alcohol testing).
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
• 24/7 availability to work a rotating roster.
