No. R1012065) at our location in Singapore As the Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to lead and manage multiple small to medium size projects to successfully and safely deliver our vital train control solutions to our customers in Singapore and/or the APAC region. The Project Manager will lead a multi-country and multi-disciplinary team of experts . As part of the role, the Incumbent will develop project plans / schedules and drive the teams to deliver on their commitments on time, within budget and within the quality requirements of established processes, norms and standards. They will often need to engage multi-disciplinary departments within the organization to secure appropriate resources for the work and regularly prepare and present status reports for both internal management and the customer. The incumbent will ultimately be responsible for contributing to the company's financial targets as owner of the project P&Ls and while meeting delivery of all deliverables and milestones for each project. The portfolio assignment will encompass one or several of our key contracts : Design, Manufacture, Build and Commissioning of Resignalling of existing metro lines (CAPEX) Maintenance and Services of commissioned systems (OPEX) included but not limited to asset management, solution renewals, cybersecurity and operations training The portfolio will evolve from small to more complex projects to facilitate/accompany the candidate's transition into his new role in Hitachi. You will enjoy having these responsibilities: The Project Manager has the overall projects supervision and is responsible for their project P&L. Drive project execution and controlling until contract closure, with a particular focus on: Managing performance, costs, schedule, quality, and risks & opportunities for mitigation actions. Monitoring and controlling with the WPMs the performance of the different activities of their respective work packages. Managing interface with key customers and the project third-parties, ensuring customer satisfaction for the project(s) and company reputation. Implementing, with the support of Operations (PMO), a solid and comprehensive EAC process, sales and cash forecasts and risks & opportunities management. Following Group processes, methods, tools, and practices to deliver projects. Coordinate the resource allocations within the projects with the Project Portfolio Director/Project Director and the respective Department Heads. Lead Bid activities with the support of the Bid team for opportunities and variations orders within the projects portfolio. Report on overall project performance and financial results to the Senior Management at Regional and Line of Business levels. Display strong communication skills ensuring clarity Ensure that all project activities adhere to company policy, local and international regulations and standards, especially in relation to safety and HSE. Coordinate with the quality assurance team to monitor compliance with industry standards and project-specific technical guidelines. Ensuring lessons learned and driving Projects execution towards continuous improvement. This includes direct contribution to Transformation plans and execution of postmortem Projects lessons learned.
