Job Summary The Materials Coordinator is responsible for receiving, verifying, organizing, and distributing materials to support daily production operations. This role ensures all incoming materials match purchase order requirements, maintains accurate inventory within the ERP system, and upholds material traceability standards when required. The Materials Coordinator plays a key role in warehouse organization, material flow, and supporting production scheduling through effective staging and kitting. Safe operation of forklifts and adherence to all safety protocols are essential. Essential Job Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders. Label, store, and track materials in designated warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP or inventory management systems. Identify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly. Follow FIFO and proper material‑handling best practices. Support QA/QC efforts by ensuring material traceability when required. Safely operate forklifts and related material‑handling equipment. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards. Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
