Job Summary:
As the External Relations & Social Project Lead at BP Berau Ltd, you will be responsible for developing and delivering crucial communication and engagement initiatives with external interested parties. This role will involve leading key projects, encourage positive relationships, and optimally communicate BP Berau Ltd's interests and impact.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive external relations strategies to enhance BP Berau Ltd's reputation, safeguarding social license to operate and achieve business objectives.
Lead and manage various social and community projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with company strategic goals.
Identify, analyze, and engage with key interested parties, including government bodies, community groups, industry associations, and media.
Represent BP Berau Ltd at external events, conferences, and meetings, effectively presenting company perspectives and initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure integrated communication efforts and alignment on project deliverables.
Drive employee engagement initiatives that cultivate a positive internal culture and support external relations objectives.
Measure and report on the impact of external relations activities, using data to refine strategies and demonstrate value.
Employ agility core practices to adapt to evolving external landscapes and project requirements.
Job Qualifications:
Proven experience in advocacy, external relations, corporate communications, or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking to assess complex situations and develop effective strategies.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong emphasis on presenting and digital communication.
Extensive experience in stakeholder management, with a track record of building and maintaining positive relationships.
Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels through effective listening and persuasive communication.
Experience in creating and measuring the impact of communication and engagement initiatives.
Proficiency in agile methodologies or core practices is desirable.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within teams with varied strengths.
A high degree of integrity and professionalism.
