Requirements

• One-year experience as a delivery driver preferred

• Lift and carry up to 55 pounds, team lift 56 to 100 pounds: continuous, moderate or occasional heavy physical activity
• Moving 50% of the time
• Stationary position 50% of the time
• Move loads on pallet jack (w/pallets/totes/barrels) weighing up to 2,500 lbs
• Load and unload vehicle

Job Summary Perform effective, safe and efficient driving duties. Deliver packages to customers on scheduled route while meeting service and performance objectives. Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. Transact all business in accordance to Patterson Companies' business code of conduct and business ethics Drive assigned vehicle and deliver/pick up shipments Point of contact for customer service and help resolve customer complaints Load and unload assigned vehicle. Ensure all loads are properly secure for transport. Operate all warehouse equipment/machinery Achieve assigned performance metrics and KPIs Help maintain a secure, organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicle Handle all hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to the Company's processes/procedures and applicable laws and regulations Assure routine maintenance is performed on assigned vehicle per schedule and vehicle is always in a good and safe condition Follow all local, state and federal motor carrier laws Submit all required daily, weekly and monthly compliance reports Assist fulfillment center in daily operations when not delivering packages A dditional functions In addition to the essential functions listed below, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions. Perform all work in accordance with Company Safety guidelines and procedures including all required Safety and Compliance Training and regulatory licensing Maintain acceptable driving record and current driver's license Perform other duties as assigned by management Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Non-CDL, Non-Hazmat, driving vehicles or combination vehicles up to 26k GVWR High school diploma or GED preferred Must have a valid driver's license Obtain a satisfactory MVR review Ability to drive assigned vehicle Knowledge of delivery area and ability to read maps Able to work as an effective team member Basic problem solving/troubleshooting skills Effective time management skills
