HBK is looking for a proactive, self-motivated Field Sales Engineer to be located in NC, VA or MD. The role will be home based with up to 40% travel. The Sales Engineers responsibility will include selling HBK Data Acquisition Systems, sensors and solutions across a wide variety of vertical market applications including, but not limited to the aerospace, defense, automotive, industrial automation and power measurement industries. The role covers the complete HBK Test and Measurement, which includes data acquisition systems, sound & vibration, strain gauges, torque sensors, power test, and structural testing products. Primary Responsibilities Direct sales responsibilities - Provide sales coverage for the territory of SC, NC, VA, MD, DC, WV and NJ Provide regular feedback of territory business climate to management Identification of new business and maintain loyalty of existing customer base Establish and maintain professional selling relationships across all levels of the customer's organization, including engineering, marketing, purchasing, and senior management Plan and execute customer visits and presentations to promote HBK awareness and develop opportunities Continuously learning the basics of HBK products and solutions Coordinate involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet objectives and customer/prospect expectations Participate in regional trade shows and conferences to foster new opportunities Develop and maintain sales forecast, coordinating with inside sales Diligently log sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce CRM Compensation: The pay range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually, plus a 43% of annual salary commission/variable plan. This range reflects a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and work location.
