Key Responsibilities (not limited to): Reporting to the Residential Manager, this role is responsible for providing operational leadership across the Home, ensuring excellence in customer experience, workforce management, financial performance, and compliance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Customer Engagement & Wellbeing: Support the Residential Manager in the effective management and resolution of resident complaints while contributing to resident wellbeing and satisfaction. In collaboration with the Residential Manager, develop and implement strategies informed by resident surveys and feedback to address care and service concerns, improve resident experiences, and enhance overall wellbeing. Commercial Management: Manage all non-clinical administrative and commercial functions to achieve key Home performance indicators, including occupancy, revenue and expenditure budgets, and care minute targets. Monitor performance outcomes and implement appropriate control measures and corrective actions to address adverse trends, risks, and variances against agreed targets. People Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage an engaged and high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Uphold Anglicare's Vision, Mission, and values while encouraging strong teamwork and positive working relationships across all areas of the Home. Workforce Management: Effectively manage complex workforce rosters, annual leave, sick leave, agency utilisation, and contingency planning to ensure alignment with Home Service Level Targets (SLTs). Ensure the accurate and timely completion of HR and payroll processes, and work closely with the Residential Manager to conduct annual performance reviews, identify development opportunities, and support succession planning initiatives. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Adhere to Anglicare's policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and quality standards while championing a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate staff compliance records and contribute to a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace environment. Key Skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Financial acumen and understanding of commercial drivers within aged care space. Meticulous attention to detail. Experience in managing large complex rosters, preferably within an aged care setting Ability to manage work efficiently and effectively. Leadership skills to build trust, coach, and engage the team. Decision-making skills within the area of responsibility. About you: Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative and/or management role. Experience with rostering and associated systems Proven track record of successful KPI management. Experience managing budgets and commercial KPIs. Experience in managing complex rosters and diverse workforce teams Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, time management, and financial systems.
