Responsibilities

• At McMaster-Carr, working in distribution isn't just a job, it's a career. As a Distribution Operations Specialist, you'll have responsibilities across multiple areas of our world-class facility, performing essential work to ensure our customers receive the parts they need accurately and on time.
• You'll begin by learning and mastering one core role within our facility. Once you've built proficiency in that role, you'll expand your skillset through experiences such as:
• Fulfilling orders accurately to help customers meet their business needs
• Preparing outgoing packages and conducting quality checks to ensure presentation and accuracy
• Handling oversized or heavy inventory using powered industrial vehicles (training provided)
• This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and are results-oriented self-starters. Our warehouse is clean, temperature-controlled, and equipped with technology to help you do your best work.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred for this role.
• We're looking for dependable, adaptable, and hard-working individuals excited to contribute to a highly organized and evolving distribution environment. Ideal candidates will have:
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Physical ability to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks
• Experience with adhering to structured processes and making justified decisions
• A focus on safety of themselves and others
• Willingness to train on material handling equipment (experience is a plus but not required)
• A team mindset, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow through hands-on work
• Cash Compensation
• Total cash compensation ranges from $95,500 - $108,500 annually, which includes annual cash profit sharing based on company profitability.
