Requirements
- Preferred Master's degree (MSN) and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANPCB)) as a family nurse practitioner, with 10+ state licensure and willingness to obtain additional as needed
- Alternatively - Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies certification by the Physician Assistant certifying body (NCCPA), with 10+ state licensure and willingness to obtain additional as needed
- Unrestricted DEA licensure and prescribe authority (per state practice regulation).
- You have active, unrestricted licenses to practice in 5+ states, and a willingness to obtain additional as needed by the organization. Preferred states include CA, TX, FL, NY, PA, IL, OH, GA, NC, MI
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You're dedicated to staying current with the latest developments in primary care and obesity medicine.

As a Fully Remote Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) at knownwell, you will work alongside a team of committed physicians, APC, registered dietitians, registered nurses, and registered pharmacists, to provide comprehensive medical care, with a specific focus on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of obesity and obesity related conditions as appropriate in a virtual primary care setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of patients by helping them improve their overall health. Schedule : Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling (32 patient contact hours minimum + 8hrs of administrative time). Fully Remote. No scheduled evening/weekend responsibilities outside of phone On-Call On-Call : Phone call only, in a rotation every 7-8 weeks for one (1) week at a time.
