Job Summary:
Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards. .
ABOUT THIS POSITION
This position is for our Adult 1 unit that cares for adult patients ranging in age from 18 and older who are being treated for a variety of psychiatric illnesses including but not limited to schizophrenia, catatonia, and bipolar disease.
SHIFT
The person hired into this position will work four 8-hour shifts per week from 3:00p-11:00p for a total of 32 hours per week, to include some weekends..
WHAT YOU"LL NEED
- Graduate of an approved discipline program
- 1 year RN experience
- Active RN license
